While there are many items to
consider for a successful
implementation of Civil 3D, the
development of your company styles
and standards and the education on
the use of them, is perhaps the
biggest challenge organizations
face. Without proper setup,
struggles to create production
drawings that look like what you’re
accustomed to can cause your first
projects to go over budget.
Additionally, users can lose
confidence in the software’s ability
and resist its use.
To help your organization
clear these hurdles and
provide you the knowledge to
create and manage your Civil
3D styles, Eagle Point is
offering a free 2-day
training workshop focused on
creating your company’s
drawing templates. This
open-enrollment,
instructor-led course not
only teaches you the ins and
outs of style creation but
is intended as a way for you
to dedicate time to creating
your organization’s specific
styles. Through a
combination of lecture and
lab time, you’ll learn how
to use the various tools to
customize styles and be
allotted time to work on
your drawing templates so at
the end of the class, you’re
armed with a preliminary
template to finish in Civil
3D using the knowledge you
gained in the class.
