Pipe Network Design Course Introduction (Course Duration: 45min)
Course Description In this course you’ll learn the basics for getting started in Autodesk Storm & Sanitary Analysis (SSA). SSA is a powerful hydraulic analysis and design application, external to Civil 3D, used to analyze and design storm and sanitary sewer systems. Gravity Networks can be initially drafted in Civil 3D as Pipe Networks, then exported to SSA for hydraulic analysis. In SSA you can modify and refine the structure and pipes, then send back to Civil 3D. In this course, the typical SSA workflow for a storm sewer network will be reviewed, starting with creating a new project and ending with final reports and plots.
Course Objectives The material presented in this course teach you how to: Start a new SSA project Import data into SSA Layout and Edit Nodes Layout and Edit Subbasins Setup IDF Curves and Rain Gauge data Layout and Edit Links Set Bypass Flows for Inlets on grade Run a Drainage Analysis Create Reports and Plots
Course Prerequisites To participate in this training course, you should have the following: Knowledge of Pipe Networks in Civil 3D Knowledge of Hydrology Analysis
