    Course Description 

    In this course, you will learn how to converts a single feature or a collection of features into a feature you can reuse in other part files. You can create an iFeature from any sketched feature or part file and save it. For each iFeature, you define descriptive parameter names that clarify how the parameters affect the placement of the iFeature in a part file. 

     

    Course Objectives 

    The material presented in this course teach you how to: 

    · Learn how to Convert a single feature or a collection of features into a feature you can reuse in other part files.   

    · Learn how to place an iFeature in a part file on a work plane or a planar face.  

    · Learn how to edit the iFeature parameters and roughly position it before placing it.  

    · Learn how to modify orientation, size, and position. 

    · Learn how to create a table-driven iFeature.

    · Learn how to place standard or custom iAssembly, when placing an into an assembly file.

    If you have stock designs that you use repeatedly, you can create them as iParts. Then you can use the variations, called members, by selecting them from a table. The designs can differ by size, material, mounting configurations, and so on.
