Design Integration for Revit Course Introduction (Course Duration: 70 minutes)
Course Description In this course, you will learn how to leverage Design Integration for Revit to work on models residing in ProjectWise. Desktop Integration is an option of the ProjectWise Explorer installer that adds ProjectWise functionality to supported applications such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and others. When an application is integrated with ProjectWise, you can access your Datasources, check out and open ProjectWise documents, and check them back in, all from inside the application without having to open ProjectWise Explorer. The level of integration differs from application to application, but typically the commands affected in each application are those which open and save files, automatically presenting you the option to open from and save to ProjectWise rather than the Windows file system.

Course Description In this course, you will learn about ProjectWise, including what it is, why organizations and project teams use it, basics about how it works, and what is required to access it. ProjectWise is an engineering project collaboration software, developed by Bentley Systems, for organizations in the AEC industry. It is a common data environment (CDE) that helps project teams administer, manage, share, and distribute engineering project content within a single platform.
ProjectWise consists of a suite of products tailored for platform administrators and standard users, and offer on-premise and cloud-based solutions. This learning path and course are designed for standard users of ProjectWise who are new to the platform and looking to get started with the ProjectWise Explorer. The introduction to ProjectWise will give you general knowledge of the platform to better prepare you for using ProjectWise for the first time.

ProjectWise Explorer is the main client interface for ProjectWise, from which you can check out, open, modify, and otherwise manage your ProjectWise documents. The fundamentals course covers a number of key topics and tools essential to creating, working with, and sharing documents in a common data environment. Although ProjectWise Explorer is very customizable, and is often configured slightly different for each organization, the features and workflows will be applicable to all ProjectWise users.
