Peak Experience, our latest update to Pinnacle Series LMS, has arrived. With this update, we re-engineered Pinnacle Series top to bottom so it’s more intuitive to use, more flexible to manage, and more customizable to your learning needs than ever before.
Pinnacle Series’s new look emphasizes information at a glance, incorporating image tiles and new description fields to maximize the efficient use of screen space—but the updates run more than skin deep. We’ve also added new features for organizing and publishing content, and enhanced the options for sharing and assigning materials to other users. Peak Experience even incorporates an all-new tool, Pinnacle AI, that can field questions through chat and point users to the most relevant resources.
But most importantly—at least to us—Peak Experience represents a firm foundation for the chief mission of Pinnacle Series: to keep your business leading the pack. Peak Experience lays the groundwork for exciting upcoming feature development and gives us the flexibility to respond to your learning needs more quickly. It’s emblematic of our ongoing commitment to support our users with the very latest in leading-edge architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing resources.
So let us proudly introduce you to a few of the key innovations in Peak Experience. In the coming weeks, we’ll be exploring individual features in greater depth—but in the meantime, we’d like to highlight the scale of this update and invite you to get as excited as we are about the possibilities.
Peak Experience introduces an all-new way for managers to organize and publish content: libraries. Libraries let you collect material from across Pinnacle Series, including subscription content and your own custom creations. Create a library by copying an existing library or subscription, or create your own personalized collection.
Both managers and end users can navigate libraries graphically, via image tiles that provide added context to course information, which appear alongside enhanced content metadata and new library descriptions. In addition, boosted search, sort, and filtering features allow users to find exactly the content they’re looking for within a library, and share it to others via groups.
With assignments, managers can create an individualized learning experience for their users that guides them directly to the content and assessments most relevant to them. And Peak Experience makes it easier than ever to view and edit assignments: increased transparency gives managers full visibility into assignments for both learning content and KnowledgeSmart assessments, along with detailed sort and filtering options across both content and user attributes.
Users also benefit from increased transparency, with the ability to view their assigned assessments alongside their assigned course content. Improved search and filtering make finding the right assignments simpler, with graphical tiles for added information, and users can also access their historical assignments to see what they’ve already completed.
Pinnacle AI is our first AI project, and is just the beginning of the productivity and efficiency gains AI can deliver as part of our enhanced learning experience. Users can ask Pinnacle AI questions using natural language, and get back focused, highly relevant answers that draw on Pinnacle Series content curated by your organization. Pinnacle AI will link to the Pinnacle content it references, making it easy for users to click through and gain more information—or they can ask Pinnacle AI follow-up questions via the chat interface, for greater clarity.
Managers can enable or disable Pinnacle AI with administrative controls—the feature is fully optional, and can be made available according to your preferences and organizational policies.
