    Collaborate on Civil 3D Projects in ACC Course Introduction

    (Course Duration: 50 minutes)

     

    Course Description

    In this course, you will learn core skills for collaborating on Civil 3D projects in Autodesk Construction Cloud.  As a member of an ACC project, you'll need to be versed on File Locking in Autodesk Docs so you can effectively collaborate with others.  This includes understanding how automatic and manual file locking is used, and what files this applies to in your ACC projects.  It will be important for you to know how to compare and restore drawings, should the need arise on your projects.  And to better collaborate with members on your design drawings, you'll learn how to leverage Markups and Issues to identify and resolve problems in your designs.

    Course Objectives

    The material presented in this course teach you how to:

    · Lock and Unlock drawing files in ACC Projects

    · Compare and Restore drawing files in Autodesk Docs

    · Use Markups in flag errors and omissions in ACC projects

    · Create and Respond to Issues in ACC Project

    · Publish Surfaces from local Civil 3D drawings to ACC projects

     

    Course Prerequisites

    To participate in this training course, you should have the following:

    · Completed the course ACC Project Setup for Civil 3D Collaboration

    · Completed the course Civil 3D Project Setup in ACC

    Eagle Point Software AIA CE Provider Number 404109445.

    CIM004 Collaborating on Civil 3D Projects in the Unified Platform (1 LU). This course is eligible for AIA Continuing Education Credits.

    ACC Project Setup for Civil 3D Collaboration Course Introduction

    (Course Duration: 20 minutes)

     

    Course Description

    In this course, you will learn how to setup a project in Autodesk Construction Cloud.   To get started in BIM Collaboration for Civil 3D, you'll need to create an ACC project.  Once your new project has been created, you can invite Members to your team, create the project folders, and assign permissions to the folders.  To complete the ACC project setup covered in this course you'll need Account or Project Administrator permissions to a create a project and Project Administrator permissions for the other setup tasks.

     

    Course Objectives

    The material presented in this course teach you how to:

    · Create a new project in Autodesk Construction Cloud

    · Add Members to your ACC projects

    · Create project folders and assign folder permissions in Autodesk Docs

    To participate in this training course, you should have the following:

    · General understanding of Autodesk Construction Cloud

    Civil 3D Project Setup for ACC Projects Course Introduction

    (Course Duration: 40 minutes)

     

    Course Description

    To collaborate on Civil 3D projects in the ACC there are certain requirements you'll need to meet, and recommended setup that will help get your projects off to a good start, and avoid potential setbacks.  In this course you'll learn common Civil 3D setup tasks that will  prepare you for your ACC projects, and help get all your team members on the same page.  This includes sharing Civil 3D templates, setting up the Data Shortcuts project, creating new Civil 3D project drawings, working with References files, and creating your project sheet set file.

     

    Course Objectives

    The material presented in this course teach you how to:

    · Meet the requirements for Civil 3D Collaboration in Autodesk Construction Cloud

    · Upload Civil 3D templates and standards to your ACC projects

    · Create a Data Shortcuts project in your ACC project

    · Create new drawing files in ACC projects

    · Associate drawing(s) to Data Shortcuts project in ACC

    · Work with Reference Files in ACC projects

    · Setup the Sheet Set file for your ACC project

     

    Course Prerequisites

    To participate in this training course, you should have the following:

    · General knowledge of Civil 3D, specifically creating new drawings and working with Data Shortcuts.

    · Completed the course ACC Project Setup for Civil 3D Collaboration

    This course is eligible for The South African Council for the Architectural Profession via The South African Institute of Architectural Technologies.
