    Essentials Course Outline
    (Course Duration: 20 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course, you will learn about the Inventor Tube and Pipe environment in Inventor Professional. Autodesk Inventor Tube & Pipe is an add-in to the assembly environment. It adds design tools for routing rigid pipes, bent tubes, and flexible hoses to mechanical assemblies or product designs in the assembly environment.

    Comments
Course content could include wall, floor, column, chair/lighting placement

  • Flexible Hose Course

    Flexible Hose Course Outline
    (Course Duration: 25 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to create flexible hoses and placed fittings. Flexible hose routes can contain up to three parts: a start fitting, a hose segment, and an end fitting. The start fitting and end fitting for a flexible hose must have two connection points.

    Comments
Flexible hose routes can be created between standard assembly geometry or initiated from fittings dropped onto existing routes to create a branch.

  • Custom Components Course

    Custom Components Course Outline
    (Course Duration: 20 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to create and publish custom fittings. You can author and publish tube and pipe iParts as either pipes or fittings for use in piping designs.

    Comments
Add intelligent pipe fittings to your library.

  • Rigid Pipe Course

    Rigid Pipe Course Outline
    (Course Duration: 35 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to create rigid pipe using both sketched and auto route options, place fittings, and work with styles. There are two types of rigid routes: the rigid pipe with fittings type and the bent tube type. Rigid piping routes can be comprised of pipe segments, couplings, standard 45 and 90-degree elbows, custom elbows for self-draining lines (angles between 45 and 90 degrees), flanges, gaskets, gaps for butt welds, and custom bends after population. Bent tubing routes are comprised of tube segments, tubing bends, and couplings.

    Comments
A rigid route can be a series of auto route regions and sketched route segments.
