Subassembly Composer Fundamentals Course Introduction (Course Duration: 35 minutes)
Course Description In this course, you will learn how to use the Autodesk Subassembly Composer for Civil 3D to author a custom subassembly. The Autodesk Subassembly Composer is an easy to use authoring tool that can be leveraged to create custom subassemblies for solving complex grading challenges, detail construction plans, and get accurate quantities without having to make compromises to your designs. For this course, a lane and shoulder extension subassembly, with cut ditch, will be authored from scratch. The traditional subassembly workflow will be followed, and many of the most common tools will be introduced to help jump start new users. At the conclusion of this course you’ll have a PKT file that you can review, manipulate, and add to your existing subassembly library.
