Features of Pinnacle Series

Content Types

Learning paths – Our experts have grouped training materials into helpful learning paths. Paths cover specific topics, guiding users through video lessons, interactive written content, downloadable datasets, and quizzes to improve their skills. When users complete a learning path, they can save or print certificates.

Personalized Learning Paths – Identify skills gaps for users through a KnowledgeSmart assessment and then automatically assign personalized learning paths to expand their knowledge where it’s most needed. Note: a KnowledgeSmart subscription is required to access the assessment.

Workflows – Communicate your standard processes and procedures and provide direct access to the commands, tools, and documents your team needs.

Documents – Our written content provides quick tips and tricks to assist learning, along with troubleshooting guides for when people get stuck.

Videos – Short how-to videos show users how to accomplish individual tasks for immediate problem-solving on the job.

Live events – Manage all internal training in one place with the ability to schedule, manage, and track live training events. You can set up pre-requisites between live events and e-learning courses.

Custom Content – Add your own resources to our e-learning system. We support SCORM, DOC, PDF, PPT, XLS, HTML and more formats. You can also edit any of our pre-loaded workflows, documents, learning paths, or courses to fit your specific company standards.

END USER FEATURES

Search – A robust search engine quickly guides users to the training content they need. The tool can also be configured to extend searches into your own knowledge repositories.

Work groups – Set up project teams or other groups and provide them with the training content or standards they need in a centralized location. External users can be added to work groups, e.g., subcontractors and subconsultants assigned to a specific project.

Related learning plugin – From within the Autodesk products, we have a plugin that will recommend the appropriate content in Pinnacle Series based on the commands the user is running. This user-friendly feature saves time and functions as a reminder to use available training.

Video transcriptions – All pre-loaded videos include transcription so that users can read along. If you upload custom videos, they can be auto-transcribed as well.

Notification center – Send automatic or manual notifications to users regarding important events, such as a course assignment, newly published content, a new live event schedule, etc.

Internal experts – Internal subject-matter experts can be assigned to various content topics. These people can serve as a resource to the user in case they need more guidance on the specific subject.

My documents – All users can create notes for themselves and store them in Pinnacle Series to enhance the central location for all knowledge. Subject-matter experts can then vet these documents and share them with others when appropriate.

Offline content – Users can download content to their PC or mobile device to take it with them if they’re going to be offline. Once they reconnect to the internet, usage and completion data will be synced back to the cloud to ensure accurate reports.

Social features – Users can like, share, and comment on any type of content. This information will only be shared internally within your organization.

Translations – Pre-loaded content is translated in 90 languages. Translations are also available for your own custom content.

Support – On the platform, users can get direct access to technical support for Pinnacle Series-related questions.

ADMINISTRATION FEATURES

Reporting – Gain insight into overall Pinnacle Series usage, monitor learning path progress or completion, and understand user engagement.

Active directory sync – Automatically sync employees in Pinnacle Series with your Active Directory. Advanced auto-grouping options are available to get your employees into the right groups within Pinnacle Series.

Single sign in – With SSO, employees don’t need to remember a new password.

Custom interface –  Administrators can use widgets to change how the Pinnacle Series interface looks and feels to users on both desktop and mobile. Control branding to match corporate fonts, themes, colors, etc.

Assignments – Managers can assign learning paths and courses to the staff, with optional due dates. Employees will be notified of new assignments via email and in-app notifications.

API Access – Integrate with other corporate systems by leveraging the open API.
