Electrical Systems Course

Course Description
In this course, you will learn how to add electrical systems to the building model in Revit. You will learn best practices to coordinate with the architect's model for fixture location, how to place electrical fixtures with MEP connectors, create circuits, add panelboards and schedule the system.

Course Prerequisites
To participate in this training course, you should have the following:
· Understanding of MEP terminology.
· Completed the Getting Started in Revit, Views in Revit, and Project Setup learning paths.
· Completed the Spaces and Zones course.

In this course, you will learn how to add lighting systems to the building model in Revit. You will learn best practices to coordinate with the architect's model for fixture location, how to place additional electrical fixtures and equipment with MEP connectors, create circuits and switch systems, and schedule the system.

Spaces and Zones Course
(Estimated Exercise Time: 15 minutes)
(Minimum Course Duration: 40 minutes)
In this course, you will learn how to add spaces to the model that will store the values used to perform heating and cooling load analysis on the building model. You will also learn to add zones that will allow you to define the spaces that will be controlled by the environmental controls systems to perform load balance and analysis.
