    Course Description
    In this course, you will learn about Desktop Connector, including what it is, how it works, how to access it, and how to keep it up-to-date. Desktop Connector is a free Autodesk software application that you can install on your Windows workstation to synchronize projects files that reside in Autodesk cloud sources. Desktop connector integrates with Autodesk Docs, Drive and Fusion 360 to create virtual drives that provide more seamless workflows for data and file management on your AEC projects.

    NOTES:
    Getting Started with Desktop Connector is based on the 16.x version of Desktop Connector. Minor updates will be appended to the end of this course via release notes and/or additional videos to introduce new features and/or functionality. As major updates are released course materials will be updated as soon as possible.

    Desktop Connector for Autodesk Docs Course Introduction
    (Course Duration: 30 minutes)

    Course Description
    In this course, you’ll learn how to leverage the Autodesk Docs connected drive with Desktop Connector. Installing Desktop Connector on your system creates the Autodesk Docs virtual drive, which synchronizes your PC with project files in Autodesk Construction Cloud. Working in the Autodesk Docs connected drive will ensure you have the newest version of your project files, and will synch changes that you make locally to a new version of the file in the cloud. The Autodesk Docs connected drive works like other local folders on your system, allowing you to maintain workflows that you’re accustom to.

    NOTE: Desktop Connector is updated frequently to address customer feedback, enhance performance, and fix issues. This course is tailored to Desktop Connector version 16.x, and will be appended as new updates are released.

    Manage ACC Projects synced with Desktop Connector
    Create and manage folders in the Autodesk Docs connected drive

    Desktop Connector for Drive Course Introduction

    Course Description
    In this course, you will learn how to use Desktop Connector with Autodesk Drive to synchronize local project files and documents. Autodesk Drive is a cloud storage solution that allows individuals and small teams to organize, preview, and share various types of design or model data. Installing Desktop Connector creates a connected drive where online files are cached locally on your system. Upon opening files in the connected drive, the latest version is retrieved from the cloud data source and downloaded to your system. The connected drive works like other local folders on your system, allowing you to maintain workflows that you’re accustom to.
