    AIA (USA) Learning Objectives

    Participants will learn how to prepare and export Revit and Civil 3D models to start a Navisworks project and will then learn about the Navisworks interface, review and redlining tools as they work in project coordination.

    Prerequisite Knowledge:
    Basic understanding of Navisworks, Revit, and Civil 3D.

    Learning Objective 1:
    Participants will prepare Revit and Civil 3D models for coordination.

    Learning Objective 2:
    Participants will learn how to create a Navisworks project and understand the interface, views, and navigation tools.

    Learning Objective 3:
    Participants will learn how to select objects, use sectioning tools, redline the project in preparation for reviewing the model changes.

    Learning Objective 4:
    Participants will learn how about the purpose of clash detection by creating clash (interference) tests and generating reports for designers to update project files. Lastly, participants will learn how to use the Automated Clash Detection Tool.
