    AIA (USA) Learning Objectives

    You will learn how to develop and analyze the energy model for the building project beginning with setup in Revit to analyzing it in Autodesk Insight.

    Prerequisite Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit.

    Learning Objective 1: Participants will learn how to create the mass form from which analytical walls, floors and roofs are generated for energy analysis.

    Learning Objective 2: Participants will establish heating and cooling loads and settings to establish baseline characteristics of the energy model in Revit.

    Learning Objective 3: Participants will learn how to transfer data and analytical geometry from the energy model in Revit to the Autodesk Insight platform for detailed energy analysis.

    Learning Objective 4: Participants will learn how to use Autodesk Insight to perform energy analysis for efficient building design. ​​
