• Creating a Plant 3D Project From Scratch

  Course Description 

  In this course, you will learn the essentials of Plant 3D to achieve an intermediate understanding of the software. We will start by designing a P&ID, then a 3D model of the process, followed by the creation of an isometric and orthographic drawing. 

    

  Course Objectives 

  The material presented in this course will teach you how to: 

  · Draw Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) 

  · Build conceptual steel structures 

  · Place equipment, pipe, and fittings 

  · Validate a project 

  · Create orthographic and isometric drawings 

   

  Course Prerequisites 

  To participate in this training course, you should have the following: 

  · Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 

   

  No Plant 3D prior knowledge is required for this course. 

   

  Approximate Duration: 3.5 hours
