Introduction to Drainage Layout and Hydraulics

In this course you will learn how to layout and compute a highway drainage system consisting of Inlets, Manholes, Outlets, Pipes, and Drainage Areas. Topics covered include placing drainage structures, drainage areas, and drainage pipes and then computing flows through the system. You will also learn how to create profiles of the drainage system.It is assumed that you have a basic understanding of the OpenRoads, OpenSite or OpenRail Designer products including navigating the interface, using terrain models, horizontal and vertical geometry, and corridors.
