Optimize Parcel Layout and Grading: Course Introduction
In this course, you will learn how to optimize the layout and grading of Parcels in OpenSite Designer. The Site Layout tools allow you to create and analyze Parcel layout and grading to arrive at the most cost-effective solution very quickly and easily. Using design criteria and constraints, you can subdivide Parcel Areas into Parcels that have a specified frontage, building and parcel envelope, minimum area, and grading limits. If the Parcel layout requires manual adjustments, you can manipulate the Site Features as needed. Once satisfied with the Parcel Layout, you can use the Grading Solver to optimize the grading and balance the site earthwork. When you are happy with the grading results, you can move the Site Features into the Final Design phase to create the proposed terrains.
