  • Swept Path Analysis

    Swept Path Analysis Course Introduction
    (Course Duration: 45 minutes)

    Course Description
In this Course you will learn how to perform a swept path analysis using Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (AVT). Swept path analysis, or prediction, is a useful tool to analyze and validate common vehicle maneuvers for a proposed roadway or parking lot design. Using industry standard vehicles, included with Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, you will learn to create, analyze, and validate swept paths for different vehicle locations over a proposed roadway design. You will explore options for creating and editing swept paths and review some of the optional details that can be added into your design drawings.

    Course Objectives
The material presented in this course teach you how to:
    Swept Path Settings and Defaults
    Define Vehicle Path
    Edit Vehicle Path
    Edit Vehicle Path Properties
    Analyze Vehicle Path
    Add Details and Reports

    Course Prerequisites
To participate in this training course, you should have the following:
Understanding of AutoCAD basics to navigate and drawing file.

    Tips:
Turn off your phone, close your email, text and social media apps.
Plug headphones or ear buds to your computer.

  • Parking Lot Layout

    Parking Lot Layout Course Introduction
    (Course Duration: 40 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course you will learn how to use Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (AVT) to layout parking features and illustrate traffic flow in a parking lot design. Using industry standard parking criteria and dimensions, you will outfit a parking design with parking rows consisting of a variety of bay and island configurations. You will review the common tools used to create and manipulate the parking features, then perform a quick parking report to reveal some statistics of the parking lot design.

  • Roundabout Design

    Roundabout Design Course Introduction
    (Course Duration: 40 minutes)

    Course Description
In this course you will learn how to use Autodesk Vehicle Tracking (AVT) to design a roundabout intersection. Using the library of roundabout industry standards, you will step through the workflow to design and grade the roundabout. You will start by designing the roundabout inner island and circulatory lanes, then add in approach regions with island markings and pedestrian crosswalks. Once the geometric features of the roundabout are designed, you’ll set grades and create the corridor model.

    Course Objectives
The material presented in this course teach you how to:
    Define Drawing Settings
    Construct Approach Road Centerlines
    Create Roundabout
    Edit Roundabout
    Add Splitter Islands and Crosswalks
    Set Visibility Options
    Create Roundabout Corridor

    Course Prerequisites
To participate in this training course, you should have the following:
Basic understanding of AutoCAD for navigating a drawing file.

    Tips:
Turn off your phone, close your email, text and social media apps.
