The Washington State County Road Administration Board (CRAB) began our journey with Eagle Point to implement the Pinnacle Series in October of 2019, 6 months after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to the pandemic, CRAB offered the 39 counties across the state of Washington in-person AutoCAD and Civil 3D training.  With the loss of all in-person meetings, we were determined to find an alternate way to continue delivering training to our counties.

CRAB was able to secure a grant to fund the initial implantation and that’s when Mike Lyons jumped in to understand our needs and develop an implementation plan.  From the project inception through today (May 2024), Mike, Katy Jones and their team have provided impeccable service.  They worked with us to train hundreds of staff remotely on how to use the system, which translated into immediate success for the platform.  County staff were hungry for training, and we were able to prove it by using the reporting tools within the Pinnacle Series.  We were able to track needs and focus on where to best supplement Pinnacle content with our own.

Initially, we were simply looking to deliver content provided by Eagle Point.  We quickly saw the value in development and upload of our own custom content in support of software and applications that our agency develops.  Once again, Katy worked tirelessly with me to understand and become proficient with the content development tools within the Pinnacle Series.  Since we began developing our own content, we have seen a surge in use of the system by staff seeking CRAB content and consistent use quarter to quarter.

I look forward to working with Mike and Katy as the Pinnacle Series continues to evolve.
