Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS allows you to bring ArcGIS data into your Civil 3D drawings. Sign in to ArcGIS and then specify an area of interest, a dataset to use, and the Civil 3D object types to create from the ArcGIS data.
Bringing ArcGIS data into your drawing does not require an ArcGIS account. If you don’t have an ArcGIS account, you can access public data. If you have an ArcGIS account, you can also access data from your organization and your groups, as well as data that you have created.
This Process lays out the tasks to import ArcGIS datasets into your Civil 3D drawings. Depending on the type of data that is imported, you can define the schema to map ArcGIS attributes to Civil 3D object properties. The different types of Civil 3D objects that can be created with the ArcGIS data include:
Alignments
Feature Lines
Parcels
Pipe Networks
Points
Upon importing the ArcGIS data into Civil 3D the attribute data can be viewed in the Properties palette, on the Extended Data tab. To remove and refresh ArcGIS datasets, use the Data Source Manager.
