Imported Map data uses different tools and features from those used when working with connected map data. This course will showcase the features and tools around working with imported data. You will learn how to create drawing maps from imported data using AutoCAD Map 3D. Drawing maps are ideal for viewing and analyzing data from external sources, which is particularly valuable when you are working with GIS data. Using the Map 3D tools and features you can bring data into map layers to overlay or underlay native drawing entities. The data residing in a map layer can be stylized and queried for enhanced map display or analyzation.
